The Musical
Jesus' Christmas Party - Roger Parsley Based on the best-selling book by Nicholas Allan, this vibrant
new show is sure to become a favourite. The innkeeper and his wife settle down
to sleep after a hectic day. They keep being disturbed by a stream of visitors
asking for Mary and Joseph, who are spending the night in their stable.
Desperate for sleep, the innkeeper eventually flies into a rage when he hears everyone
having a noisy party, but softens as soon as he sees the newborn baby. Why not combine the play or musical with a visit from the author for workshop and reading? If London based, the author will visit the Musical or play without charge. Nicholas Allan's own presentation of the story includes magic, drawing, and an impromptu rendition of the Nativity play itself. Each child decorates a crown to take home.
